GURGAON: Gangster Sandeep, alias Kala Jathedi, reached Gurgaon on Wednesday afternoon under tight security to meet his wife and newborn daughters, police said.The visit came after Delhi’s Rohini Court granted him four hours of custody to meet his family. Jathedi met his wife and children at Neelkanth Hospital in DLF Phase 3 while being escorted by police.A Delhi Police team arrived in Gurgaon with Kala Jathedi around 11. 45am. A large number of police personnel, including those from Gurgaon police, were deployed at the hospital, and tight security arrangements were maintained during his stay, officials said.Jathedi, a native of Jathedi village in Sonipat district, completed Class 12 before working as a cable operator.Police said he married Anuradha Chaudhary, a former Delhi-based gangster, on March 12, 2024.Jathedi is facing charges in more than 30 serious criminal cases, including murder, ransom and extortion, registered across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, police added.“Delhi police reached the hospital, along with gangster Kala Jathedi. After meeting his wife and children, he was taken back by the Delhi Police around 2pm,” inspector Sumit Kumar, SHO of DLF Phase 3 police station, said.
