Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna Cat-1 Government of India undertaking under Coal India, has declared the result for multiple Trainee and Grade-D/Grade-C posts advertised under Notification No. 583 dated 12.03.2026 and Notification No. 553 dated 31.01.2026. The result includes roll number wise marks obtained by passed candidates for the posts of Jr. Technician (ECG/EEG), Pharmacist (Trainee), Staff Nurse (Trainee), Technician (Pathological) Trainee and Jr. Technical Inspector. WCL has also issued an office order dated 01.07.2026 confirming the final selection of two candidates for the Pharmacist (Trainee) post in T&S Grade-C.

Merit Order Correction Noted in the Office Order
The office order also corrects the merit position of the two selected candidates within the earlier list issued vide Order No. WCL/IR/MP/Selection/2026/Pharmacist/922 dated 11.06.2026.
- Neeraj Pawar’s name will now be placed between position 5 (Swati Nilesh Parkhi) and position 6 (Pawan Sudhakar Zilpe).
- Deepak Manekar’s name will be placed after position 7 (Prashant Umrao Dupare).
- This revised selection for Pharmacist (Trainee) in T&S Grade C is effective from 11.06.2026.
What Happens After Selection? Reporting, Probation and Training Rules
WCL has laid down a clear timeline that selected candidates must follow after being declared successful for the Pharmacist (Trainee) post. The same broad process typically applies to other T&S Grade C and Grade D trainee posts as well.
Reporting Timeline
This section explains the deadline by which selected candidates must report for duty.
- Selected employees must report to the Regional General Manager of their posted area within 30 days from the date of the office order.
- If a selected candidate does not join within 30 days, their selection will automatically stand cancelled without any further notice, and the candidate will be solely responsible for this.
Probation Period
This section explains the probation rules applicable after joining.
- Selected candidates will remain on probation for 6 months from the date of joining the selected post.
- If performance during probation is not found satisfactory, the probation period may be extended, or the candidate may be reverted to their original post.
Training Period and Confirmation
This section explains the training duration before a trainee is confirmed on the post.
- Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 1 year from the date of joining the selected post.
- After successful completion of training, they will be confirmed as Pharmacist in T&S Grade C.
- Area-wise posting of selected candidates within the region will be decided by the concerned Regional General Manager.
